What Is the Big Deal about Doctor Sam Muslin DDS MAGD?

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

A cosmetic dentist is all about beautifying your teeth, not just filling cavaties and keeping your teeth clean. Over the past few years there has been a huge increase of popularity for cosmetic dentistry. This has to do with people having the urge to have a smile that they are proud to show off. It is sad that we live in modern times where an emphasis is placed on looks and the only way that we can feel good about ourselves is if we compare to the models we see on TV and in the movies. But it is the way things are and we have to deal with it.

It’s unmanageable to smile without humiliating yourself if you have standard problems that many people face and they can greatly influence your self-image. Bad teeth doesn’t necessarily prove that you haven’t been taking proper precaution of your dental health. It could be heredity or the result of health issues. However, this doesn’t help you feel better about your smile.

There are numerous dental procedures that a cosmetic dentist can perform to improve your smile. A few of these treatments are teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, and dental implants. Teeth whitening is a common cosmetic procedure aimed to restore the natural brilliance of aging teeth. Dental Veneers will help to repair broken and chipped teeth. Custom veneers allow for a durable and natural repair to your teeth.

The cosmetic dentistry that you will need is as unique as you are and the only way to determine this is by setting up a consultation with your preferred Los Angeles Dentist.

There are numerous Los Angeles Cosmetic Dentists many claiming to be the best cosmetic dentist There is however only one Dr. Sam Muslin DDS MAGD, the renowned Dentist in Los Angeles. One of the few Masters of the Academy of General Dentistry. Spend some time on the Before and After gallery on his website, showing full face images of actual consenting patients, and judge for yourself.

Lasik Is an Impressive Way to Straighten out Your Vision

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

100% No-Cut, No-Flap, All-Laser LASEK and epi-LASEK laser vision correction is only available at Park Avenue Laser Vision.(Every other center is performing this or the older, less-advanced PRKin selected high-risk patients!)

Also, here are many classes and examples of special patients/situations
they can help with:

Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)

The reason that one eye gets lazy or crosses is often
because that eye has a prescription in it that is significantly worse than the
other eye. The image the brain receives from this eye is thus so much blurrier
than that from the other eye, that the brain just neglects the bad image, and
eventually ignores the bad eye leading to lazy eye.

So, the dozens of patients with lazy eyes were all adults,
and had been told over the years (or decades, in many cases) that their bad
eye could not be helped but this was often decades ago, before the excimer
laser
was even invented by two of Dr. Chynn s MD colleagues while he was a
student at Columbia University.

Obviously, before performing surgery on any amblyopic eye,
Dr. Chynn will send the patient for a second opinion by a pediatric
ophthalmologist
to make sure that the patient will not have diplopia or
double vision
afterwards, and carefully explains to and consents the
patient!

Even better, because you have a pre-existing medical
condition
, in most instances, your medical insurance will actually partially
pay for your laser procedure
because it is not purely cosmetic, but is
correcting a medical problem!

Extreme prescriptions: myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism:

We at Park Avenue Laser Vision are the ONLY center in NYC performing
100% No-Cut, No-Flap, All-Laser LASEK and epi-LASEK laser vision correction.

For example, in 2008, Dr. Chynn treated Natacha Hildebrand,
who was working for him as an Assistant Laser Vision Coordinator, and she was a
-10.00! preop (or 3x legally blind or about 20/2,000!) and after her
LASEK on 1 eye, and epi-LASEK on the other eye, she is now seeing a PERFECT
20/20 which is quite remarkable.

How Can I Benefit From Broadband DSL?

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Broadband DSL has opened a whole new world of creative opportunities for individuals and businesses alike. DSL has made ordinary internet browsing extraordinary. With astounding speeds and reliable connections, broadband DSL puts a new spin on sending and receiving e-mail, streaming audio and video, and all internet activities that are best preformed with a dependable speedy connection.

Broadband DSL allows users to receive telephone calls while surfing the net, so why not see the person at the other end of the line? DSL users with similar capabilities can go online and talk face to face in front of internet webcams. DSL users can virtually connect with other DSL users on the other side of the world. Internet phone calls can link broadband DSL users for virtually pennies per minute, while leaving telephone lines open. Gone are the days of expensive phone calls and overpriced per minute charges to friends and loved ones. Broadband DSL has opened endless windows of communication for users all over the world.

Businesses and employees benefit greatly from the technology of broadband DSL. Office networks can be accessed at lightening speed from home or anywhere that provides a broadband DSL connection. Video conferencing and virtual meetings lower and often eliminate travel costs and miscellaneous expenses by implementing the power of technology. Broadband DSL often makes the impossible, possible.

Changes and technological advances in the world of broadband DSL are happening all the time. Even now, most individuals and businesses never come close to implementing all the capabilities and power that broadband DSL has made available to them. Dial-up modems are now antiquated and too slow for many individuals, let alone businesses where time is of the essence. Other types of broadband technology once considered fast and reliable are also lagging behind DSL. Broadband DSL is the wave of the future, and the future is available now.

Anchorage in August: Things Looking up with Terrific Expectations

Monday, May 25th, 2009

I cannot say I’m downright happy living alone and not be lying. Even then, I’m not unsatisfied about it, either. I only bring it up here as a delicious personal tidbit foreshadowing what I am prepared to reveal to you

This time last week I met for coffee with Corey, considering joining a Dallas Singles dating service. Today, I type to the blogosphere as a delightfully single member of the matchmaking service. Totally, I am. It’s full of fun, attractive people! If you’ve been paying attention, you’re probably thinking, “Stop blabbering and tell me about it already.”

So, I noticed these Great Expectations Reviews and can really get behind their approach. They’re for quality and professional singles who care enough to know dating should have a point.

‘Cause I’d never been too big on this silly social phenomenon a lot of singles have named “Dating.” I got it more than anyone should. Each night readers pester, “Are you two serious yet?” and “Just get out there and date him!”

“Nonsense,” I reply, and playfully so. “Take a look around, I’m not missing much.”

“Not true,” they reply. “You have no way to know that!”

Leave it to my sister (she’s the best) hah! Sandy Feldman. She offers reality directly to my core to set me straight. Friends never fail . She made a good point, so I signed up.

Back to the point of this essay. As I picked from more than three hundred combinations of outfits for my first singles event with Great Expectations, a revelation hit me honest. For years, I hadn’t held the greatest of actual great expectations for dating and myself in the serendipitous winding course of being human. Being single isn’t so bad, even more so with healthy optimism. Having great expectations does wonders in dating.

From Kings Of Leon to Michael Jackson: in 2009, Fans Buy Tickets Online

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

It’s ALWAYS been tough to get hold of a ticket for a concert or a sports event. For Instance, the whole 2.5 million tickets were bought up for the 2009 U2 tour of the US. So just how can someone who’s in full time employment get their mitts on a ticket if they’re selling out so quickly?

They have to buy one resold online.

Not so long ago, the only method to purchase a second-hand concert or sports ticket was through a dodgy ticket tout just outside the premises of the event. This meant paying over the odds, or even perhaps being given bogus tickets which would likely be identified as such as you tried to enter the event – and that means you miss the music gig or sports event while throwing away your dosh by being defrauded.

However, the situation has improved for sports and music fans. Thanks to the web, the ticket resale niche has cleaned up its act in the last decade. Now there is so much competition to resell tickets on the internet, the market has actually become self-regulating. You’re selling the ticket for HOW much money?! I’ll look elsewhere! Many vendors offer very cheap insurance if the gig or event is called off. And with stiff competition online, secondary tickets have come right down in price to the point that sometimes you’re not paying much more than the face value price. Many ticket purchasers look at prices between dozens of traders selling resold tickets for the same concert / event. They check the sale prices, seating, insurance, and even previous history of the seller prior to deciding to purchase or not – so the force has considerably transferred away from the dodgy tout of days gone by to the ticket buyer.

Today you can get tickets for many kinds of concerts and sporting events. From soccer to basketball matches to cricket, to getting hold of front row seats for your favourite band; resale tickets offer a 2nd chance to go to the gig you want to go to. So what to anticipate online? Use a search engine like Google and type in your keyphrase like Kings of Leon tickets, and you will see a large array of resale ticket brokers who have the ticket you’re looking for.

Not everyone is content with resale tickets though. Some individuals label secondary ticket vendors as leeches, and wish to see the banning of resale tickets. They don’t seem to see the valuable service resale tickets bring : there’s such a small sliver of time that someone can buy a ticket when it goes on sale the first time around.

Amaze Your Guest with a Truly Unique Wedding Reception

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Finding a stunning unique wedding reception location is one aspect of your wedding theme. Since the wedding reception generally follows the theme established throughout the ceremony, invites etc, it is usually best to plan for the wedding and reception to follow the same general themed format, although this is not written in stone. Aim to make the reception a place to ‘let loose’, a place to bypass the formal setting often created in the ceremony.

Unique wedding receptions usually begin with an unusual, creative location. A drab and lackluster location for your reception, no matter how well it is decorated, will not ‘wow’ your guests. A unique setting will inspire you to create wonderful ideas, to ‘break out of the box’ and create something totally your own.

No matter where you choose to host your reception, there are essential details you need to look after when planning:

1. Weather / Environment – is the wedding reception inside or out?

2. Setup – Is this a non-traditional location? Will it have sufficient power for the entertainment? Adequate parking space for guests? Also consider distance – most guests do not want to drive into the deep woods to attend your reception.

3. Cleanup, setup – Most ‘traditional’ wedding reception venues have cleanup in place. Make sure to inquire about this when selecting the venue. Otherwise, you may need to draw on family and friends to help with this aspect.

4. Theme – Does the location fit the theme you have chosen for your wedding. Keep in mind, you do not need a theme for your wedding, but it does help to keep things on track.

5. Does the location invoke ‘wows’ from friends? Take a small group of friends to the location, and ask them what they think.

Truly Unique Wedding Reception Locations:

Corn field clearing. Now don’t laugh, I seen a stunning Western wedding theme done up perfectly in a cornfield clearing. Complete with rented gazebos, a fire pit and a Country band for entertainment, the event went off very well.

Sports Venue. Why not host your reception at your favorite sports venue, if you are a sport fan? Theme the reception with sport favors.

Building Top / High Rise. A wedding reception on the top of a city skyscraper can be both exhilarating and memorable, although this might be on the ‘pricy side’ depending on where you live.

More common wedding reception locations might include Barns, Gardens / Display Gardens, Ranches, Beaches. Since the wedding reception is only limited by your imagination, take the time to sit down and really brainstorm some great ideas. It will be well worth it in the end

Developing Your Winning Web Site Strategy

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

Your web site is the key to your success on the Internet. You can use your web site to build your brand, increase sales, generate more leads, slash costs, and much more. In fact, you probably have very specific goals that your web site is helping you to achieve for your company.

If you do have goals, are you measuring them? We often ask people, “what are the objectives of your site?” Answers usually vary from “our site is supposed to provide information about our company’s products”, or “the site is supposed to effectively convey our brand to our audience.”

In actuality, those are very rarely the TRUE objectives; but rather the MEANS to accomplish one’s objectives. A web site’s objectives will in most cases be to drive sales and revenues or generate qualified leads.

The first step to building a winning strategy on the Internet is to identify your exact goals and set your web site’s objectives to achieve those goals. Here are two examples…

Web Site Goal: Lead Generation
If the main goal of your web site to generate more leads for your company, your web site’s objectives should be geared around two things…

1) increasing the quantity of your leads

2) increasing the quality of your leads

By focusing on these web site objectives you can identify what your web site needs to do to accomplish them. For example, if you want to increase the quantity and quality of your leads, you can identify that your web site should be re-designed to…

a) Attract more qualified visitors from the search engines

b) Display the benefits of your product or service

c) Educate your visitors and prospects on how to make a smart buying decision

d) Overcome the objections your visitors may have about your product

e) Persuade them to take action and become a lead for your sales team

Web Site Goal: Drive Sales & Revenues
If the main goal of your e-commerce web site is designed to generate sales for your company, your web site’s objectives should be geared around two things…

1. Get more visitors to shop for and buy your products

2. Get visitors to buy larger orders

3. Get visitors to return and buy more often

As you can see from these two examples, setting specific goals and objectives for your web site will allow you to set your plan for improving your results. Now that you have your goals and objectives, you’re ready for the next step which is increasing your web site’s conversion rate.

Why Ski in Val D’Isere in the Savoie Region of France

Monday, May 18th, 2009

Among Europe’s most celebrated snowboarding towns, Val d’Isre boasts 402 km of groomed pistes. The ski season starts during early November and culminates in the start of May. Val d’Isere caters everything for you. The town stretches down the valley from La Daille as far as Le Fornet with the apres ski in the centre of Val d’Isere itself. This cluster of cute luxury chalets contain dapper boutiques many of which have developed since the town was chosen for the winter olympics.

Split into three areas the town has lots of pistes for all levels. It has a cracking historical snow record, the resort is hugely fashionable amidst pro boarders and mileage hungry intermediates, on the other hand you don’t need to be especially adventurous to relish what’s on offer. It is easy to how come so many Brits are attracted to the mountain, with its renowned apres ski and the variety of entertainment on offer, moreover the near proximity of Tignes enables you to venture out to less busy climes if it all becomes a bit much.

Pros

A good nightlife in France. Everybody speaks English. Easy approach to both Val d’Isre and Tignes known collectively as the the Espace Killy skiing area. There’s lots of cars and although there are frequent buses during the day, committed party animmals ought aim to be within walking distance from the centre.

Cons

Pricy. Frantic and fashionable with English holiday makers, therefore not for holiday makers seeking a typical French ski town to relish a stress free vacation. Several skiing lifts can shut in stormy weather conditions. A few hard blue and green trails.

A Different Way to See where You Live

Monday, May 11th, 2009

I’ve moved around the country I live in quite a bit and I’ve stayed in some places for years at a time. Wherever I’ve stayed I’ve always been very keen to have a look around at the scenery, the people, the wildlife, the industry and how it all fits together and works together.

You might think that I’m a bit of a sticky beak but how the environment and the people who live in it all fit together has always fascinated me. But in all those years of looking around I’ve been missing something.

You see, when I go out ‘exploring’ I’m either on foot, in a car or in a train. I’m at ground level and that’s the view that I’ve been getting of the places where I’ve lived or stayed. For a long time I’ve thought that it was quite an adequate way to see the world too but lately I’ve realized that I’ve been missing something. There’s a view of the places I’m at that I’ve missed out on.

Sure, in the past I’ve often caught a plane to somewhere I’m going and I get a quick glimpse of the area I’m living in from the cabin window but it’s always just a glimpse. The plane is in a hurry to get to it’s destination so it doesn’t hang about while I have a good look at what’s going on below.

On my last plane trip down to the state capital it dawned on me that I could really see so much more of the area I’ve been living in if I could see it from the air at a much more leisurely pace than on a shuttle flight. I realized that, from the air, I could get an overview (no pun intended) of the area where I lived but how was I to do that.

Well, in the area where I currently live. there are a couple of options that I hadn’t thought of until then. There are some limited ultra-light flights but I like something a little more substantial to take me into the air other than a couple of seats bolted to a metal frame that’s powered by an old car engine.

There are some light planes around that I could charter but in a busy city they’re flight paths are limited and they’re speeds are relatively high. And then an old friend called me to tell me about a new job he had and the light bulb came on.

He now works for the Sydney helicopter charter specialists – Skyward Helicopters – and even though I’m not near Sydney it dawned on me that a helicopter is the perfect platform to get a great overview of where I live. I’ve tried my first helicopter charter and it’s been great so if you want to get a bird’s eye view of the town where you live then think about a helicopter … and take your camera along too.

Sentenced to Success

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

I once heard a speaker use the statement, “I have been sentenced to success!” I heard that almost twenty years ago, yet it still sticks in my
head.

Imagine that. What if we had been given a life sentence to serve, say 75
years, and the sentence was to do time in a place called “Success”? The
truth is that we have.

Let me back up. We have been given a life sentence. But, unlike a sentencing
in a real life courtroom, we get to actually choose where we will “do our
time.”

Here are some of the choices people make:

The prison of poverty. Poor people are no better or kinder or anything else
than people with money. People are people regardless of how much money they
have. Frankly, I have had little and I have had a lot, and yes, I will
choose having a lot! When you choose to live in poverty you are in a prison
that does not allow you the freedoms we were intended to experience. We are
unable to help others as we desire. My advice? Don’t choose a sentence to
the prison of poverty.

The prison of depression. Depression is like a blanket that overwhelms you
and eventually smothers you. Now before you go accusing me with, “Chris. You
just don’t understand.” Yes I do. I have had a history of depression.
Depression is rampant in my family of origin. I know firsthand what a prison
depression is. When you are locked up in depression you cannot live life as
it was intended. But you can get out! My advice? Don’t choose a sentence to
the prison of depression.

The prison of the lack of health. Lacking health is a real pain! The freedom
we lose when we choose to live in a state of a lack of health is terrible -
and unnecessary! We don’t have to live in that prison. We can choose a
different sentence! We can choose health! My advice? Don’t choose a sentence
to the prison of the lack of health.

The prison of doubt, worry, and fear. This is a dark, dark prison. It is one
that haunts you the whole time you reside there. It makes you believe that
the surroundings are worse than the really are. It keeps you from enjoying
life and becoming the kind of person you were intended to become! My advice?
Don’t choose a sentence to the prison of poverty. My advice? Don’t choose a
sentence to the prison of doubt, worry and fear.

There is another option. You can choose to be sentenced to success! You can
choose to actually be set free! You can choose to walk out of that courtroom
and live the life that you choose!

What can you experience when you are sentenced to success? How about these:

Good health
Financial abundance
Emotional freedom
Positive relationships
A career you love
Spiritual liberty

And how will you experience these? By choice. Your choice. You choose
exactly what kind of life you will live. You choose the sentence you will
serve here on earth and the experience that you have.

Will you languish in a dark prison or in the open freedom that comes from
the sentence of success? That depends on the choices you make.

I challenge you to choose this day to:

Pursue financial independence
Develop yourself spiritually
Make a change so you are in a career you love
Re-commit yourself to loving relationships
Achieve emotional health

Make a choice TODAY. Do not spend another day in a prison where you do not
belong!

Where will you serve your sentence? You get to decide.

As for me?

I have been sentenced to success!
